Spinner malfunctioning on Lollipop

My Android Project Build Target is 5.1.1 API 22 This app seems to work for every OS version except Lollipop. Lollipop restructures the height of some activities (negating the scrollable layout) as well as disrupts the spinners. Clicking a specific position on a spinner will input a different position in the app. I’m not sure […]

RippleDrawable mask color, what is it for?

In referring to the RippleDrawable for Android L, https://developer.android.com/reference/android/graphics/drawable/RippleDrawable.html, there’s a way to mask away to contain the ripple effect within the view. The masking is done as <ripple android:color=”#ff0000ff”> <item android:drawable=”@drawable/white” /> </ripple> We could also mask it using <ripple android:color=”#ff0000ff”> <item android:drawable=”@drawable/black” /> </ripple> As mentioned in the document, the mask layer is […]

“@android:style/TextAppearance.StatusBar.EventContent.Title” sets the color to white instead of grey in android L

Android L uses white background for notifications and grey color for the text on it. But, “@android:style/TextAppearance.StatusBar.EventContent.Title” still sets the color of TextView to same white color like in KitKat or previous versions. It should return the grey color used in new notification style of Android L. How can I solve it? Thanks in advance.
